Program Manager (Electrical/Construction)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing strategic projects with the intent of driving positive sustained results and improving key performance indicators. The candidate will have a strong understanding of security concepts, proven successful experience implementing process change, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments, as well as communicate effectively up and down the organizational structure.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Design, Lead and communicate plans and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.

Manages project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts and access to existing information as needed.

Manage all contractors

Manage all aspects of projects from procurement, design, installation etc.

Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the completion of each projects' objectives.

Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met.

Conducts project closure activities to formalise and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a Program Management role.

Previous experience within the electrical or construction industries is preferred.

Previous Experience in Radio Operations environments

Exceptional people skills

Project Management Certification strongly preferred

Successful history of leading, managing, and implementing impactful process improvement projects.
