About the Role
A global retailer is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead Canadian operations. This role oversees all areas of HR—compliance, payroll, compensation, talent, and employee relations—while partnering with senior leadership and supporting a multi-location retail network.
Responsibilities
Lead HR programs across Canada, ensuring compliance with labour laws.
Manage payroll, compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
Advise leadership on workforce planning, performance, and engagement.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
Drive change management and foster a positive culture.
Travel as required to support multiple sites.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s an asset).
8–10 years HR experience, with 5+ in senior leadership.
Retail and multi-location experience required.
Bilingual (English/French).
Strong knowledge of Canadian labour laws and HR best practices.
Proven leadership and executive partnership skills.
