Domestic Couple (House & Maintenance Manager) – Private Shooting Estate, Northumberland

A prestigious private shooting estate in Northumberland seeks an experienced "hands on" domestic couple to manage and care for principals part time residence.

The property is primarily in use from August to October, with occasional visits in November and December. From January to July, the focus is on caretaking, overseeing maintenance, managing contractors, and ensuring the house and valuables remain secure and ready for the season.

During the shooting season, you will host 2–3 shoot parties per week, coordinating chefs, housekeeping, and service staff to deliver seamless 5-star hospitality. Duties include managing dining and drinks service, caring for silver and antiques, handling guest arrivals and departures, and maintaining high standards across the home.

Requirements:

Proven experience running a large private residence to an exceptional standard

Excellent organisational, communication, and service skills

Strong front-of-house and housekeeping abilities

Knowledge of fine dining, wine, and care of valuable furnishings

Package:

Salary: £70,000–£80,000 GPA (combined, depending on experience)

Accommodation: Separate 2 bed cottage provided with costs covered
