The Operations Analytics & Planning Specialist is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and proactively providing recommendations based on data to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives support. This role involves developing and implementing advanced tools and processes to measure and optimize Element’s products and services. The specialist will leverage advanced analytics, business intelligence, and emerging technologies to support decision-making, deliver actionable insights, and foster innovation across the organization.
Extraction & analysis of data
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, tools, and analytics solutions to monitor and measure KPIs across fleet operations, vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and financial indicators.
Continuously improve and update tools to meet evolving business needs.
Extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization, decision-making and strategic planning.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards that highlight operational efficiency, cost and revenue trends, and areas for improvement.
Track the effectiveness of implemented tools and processes, ensuring they meet set targets and KPIs.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure operating efficiency.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity while delivering insights for strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Enhance data quality through robust data cleansing/cleaning techniques
Predictive and forecast-based recommendations & communication
Implement predictive models, machine learning, and forecasting techniques to anticipate issues and recommend preventive actions.
Communicate findings and recommend improvements to senior management.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align solutions with business priorities and client needs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor operational plans.
Continuous improvement & process optimization
Champion change management and continuous improvement across the organization.
Identify, document possible efficiencies, and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
Suggest and implement new strategies to enhance overall operation performance.
Provide ongoing support to the operations team by troubleshooting issues and optimizing processes related to fleet management.
Partner with IT and data engineering to enhance enterprise data architecture, integration, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
Oversee the adoption of analytics solutions, driving revenue generation, cost savings, and client retention.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fleet management, to ensure Element remains at the forefront of analytics-driven operations.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in an area related to IT/Data, Business intelligence, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science and Mathematics, Innovation, or similar. If Industrial Engineer, data experience or additional data related studies required.
Experience:
At least 3-4 years as data analyst or data science positions
Proven experience in metrics, dashboard creation, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics.
Proven experience in Automations, AI
Familiarity with fleet management, telematics, and IoT data preferred.
