EHS Manager- Onsite in New Albany, OH
11 month assignment with possible extension

Scope of Work
The EHS Manager is responsible for the daily management, execution and oversight of project safety, including the organization and planning of safety tasks and activities. This position will report to the Director of EHS, Data Centers and may be assigned a safety specialist to lead and manage.
The EHS Manager must be a reliable agent of implementing, delivering, and leading health and safety accountability and objectives. In addition, this position requires the ability to manage and strengthen relationships between Corporate Health and Safety, project teams, field installation teams, subcontractors, and customers. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with site leadership to strategize efforts to meet/ exceed compliance with internal and external requirements.
Supervise site EHS Specialist/s; including delegations, assignments, mentorship, training, and scheduling.
Maintain an active on-site presence; managing daily safety inspections including site walks, audits, toolbox talks, and overall site safety.
Provide guidance, training (incl. onboarding orientations) and coaching to field staff, project teams, contractors, and visitors to ensure execution of safety program needs.
Lead incident investigation panels, root cause analysis, emergency response, and implementation of corrective actions.
Review any changes or deviations to EHS processes, tasks, or forms revisions and reviews.
Bridge communication between senior management, site level workforce, and project teams.
Manage safety documentation and forms, SDS, records and metrics.
Willingness to work days, nights and weekends as project requires.
Create and develop EHS processes and procedures when needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in EHS or related discipline; or at least 5 years of experience as an EHS leader.
BCSP certification such as CSP, ASP, or CHST certification, or the ability to become certified within the first 6 months of employment.
OSHA 30-hr course certification.
OSHA 30 and 10-hr certified trainer qualification highly preferred.
Thorough understanding of construction and general industry federal, state and local EHS laws and regulations.
Proven experience with EHS inspections/audits, incident investigation, hazard reviews.
