On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Refined Products Logistics Analyst for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client's Dublin, Ohio office.
Refined Products Logistics Analyst - Job Description
The Refined Products Logistics Analyst plays a critical operational role in the U.S. Refined Products Logistics team. The position supports product schedulers through daily data entry, validation, and analytics related to the movement of refined products into Client's distribution network, serving its U.S. refinery assets.
Refined Products Logistics Analyst - Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Scheduling team to ensure physical movements of products across the U.S. rail, truck, and pipeline networks are recorded accurately and timely in client's operations and accounting systems
• Responsible for processing, analyzing, and reporting daily movements
• Liaison with front, middle, and back-office functions to identify, investigate, and resolve BOL issues to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payables
• Identify problem areas and facilitate the development of appropriate solutions cross-functionally
• Assist with reconciliation of inventory volumes with mid and back-office functions
• Perform daily actualization of product movements in SRA (RightAngle) ETRM system
Refined Products Logistics Analyst - Mandatory Skills
• Must be legally entitled to work in U.S.
• Minimum 2-4 years of direct experience in commodity logistics and/or formal education in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field
• Strong ability to analyze complex information & details, and present findings in a clear and concise format
• Ability to respond effectively and efficiently to the needs of diverse clients with a focus on customer service
• Independent decision-making with an ability to influence and direct decisions related to commercial operations
• Proficient in Excel and adapts easily to other related platforms
Refined Products Logistics Analyst - Nice-to-Have Skills
• ETRM experience preferred
• Experience in logistics or supply chain
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an inclusive environment
