Day-to-day tasks:

"Provide technical guidance to the project team in order to ensure that system support is maintained during the Software Development Life Cycle.

"Develop system design for improving ECLRS performance; receiving non-human results (eg. mosquito, mammal, and tick) from labs and populating to CDESS vector surveillance system; archive ECLRS database to improve performance; add a new drug overdose syndrome to ESSS; designing a new database for accepting urgent care canter data.

"Provide system technical specification documents.

"Participate in testing, evaluation, and implementation of related software products in order to ensure the software used in the project is compatible from end to end.

"Manage code promotions for ECLRS and ESSS through each stage of testing.

"Manage tasks assigned to programmers within the project team.

Software Architect

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.
