Job Title: Director of Administration/Practice Administrator

Immediate Supervisor Title: Chief Executive Officer
General Summary: An exempt position responsible for the organization's human resources (HR) and business functions
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all company policies and state/federal regulations
Maintain employee records and update as needed
Facilitate FML/STD, BWC and other employee leave and benefit programs
Update company policies and benefits package
Oversee all banking and accounting functions
Support clinical and administrative recruiting
Complete monthly invoices for facility payments and ensure stipends are received
Responsible for all company revenue that is not clinical fee-for-service
Reconcile monthly AP
Support physician and staff payroll as needed
Oversee direct and corporate employee expenses
Facilitate communication between management and employees
Assist with retirement plan administration
Manage employee on-boarding and exiting
Co-manage, schedule, and organize meetings along with CEO
Educate employees on company benefits and rewards
Support CEO with commercial insurance and malpractice administration
Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
Assist management with corrective action, conflict resolution, and accidents
Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, or similar.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in health care administration
Other Requirements: Experience in HR or management preferred

Knowledge:
Knowledge of the principles of HR management sufficient to direct professional staff and coordinate all aspects involved with HR requirements.
Knowledge of company’s strategic business objectives and employee performance objectives.
Knowledge of governmental and health care fiscal regulations and reporting requirements.

Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve objectives.
Skill in evaluating operations as they relate to policies, goals and objectives, costs, and rate levels.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment: Position is in an office environment.
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week. Some work from home possible.
Physical Requirements: Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an administrator such as sitting for 80 percent of the day; manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries, lifting up to 20 lbs. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
