About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of ruggedized server platforms for tactical edge and military programs. You will be responsible for creating high-performance, reliable hardware capable of operating in extreme environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of server/compute hardware for rugged/military applications
Design and review multi-layer PCBs and high-speed digital circuits (PCIe, DDR)
Develop power delivery, thermal, and EMC/EMI solutions for ruggedized systems
Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-810 (environmental) and MIL-STD-461 (EMC/EMI) standards
Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and test teams to integrate and qualify hardware
Mentor junior engineers on high-speed board-level design and integration best practices
Requirements:
10+ years of hands-on experience in server or compute hardware design
Extensive PCB layout and multi-layer board design experience
Expertise in high-speed digital design, signal integrity, and power delivery networks
Knowledge of thermal management and EMC/EMI mitigation
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Preferred:
Experience in rugged computing, military/aerospace, or server OEMs (Dell, HPE, Lenovo)
Familiarity with design tools such as Cadence/Allegro, HyperLynx, Ansys SI/Thermal
Clearance or eligibility for security clearance
