Class 1 Yard Shunter

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 1 (C&E) Shunter in the Burgess Hill Area.

This role will start on the 24th November and finish on the 24th December

Hours:

Week 1- Monday to Saturday

Week 2- Monday to Friday

Start time: 22:30pm - Finish time: 07:00am

Weeks will alternate throughout the month

Pay Rates:

£15.28 per hour PAYE

Location: Burgess Hill, RH15

The role:

Reversing in the yard and maneuvering vehicles with precision.

Moving Trailers and Trucks around the yard

Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.

Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

1 Years experience

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Excellent communication skills.
