Job Description

The Registered Nurse (ICU) will provide comprehensive patient care in the 2 Ross CCU/ACU unit, a high-acuity Cardiac Medical ICU This role involves caring for critically ill cardiac patients including those with ACS, MI, cardiogenic shock, decompensating heart failure, and post-cardiac interventions (e.g., TAVR).

Responsibilities include:

Managing ventilated patients and titrating cardiac/vasoactive drips

Monitoring hemodynamics and assisting with cardiac devices (IABP, Impella, CRRT, EKOS)

Interpreting dysrhythmias and ABGs

Administering blood products, emergency meds, and IV therapy

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (PT, RT, Radiology, Pharmacy, etc.)

Floating within OSU system as needed

Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (Fri, Sat, + 1 flexible night shift)

EPIC experience required

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience

Certifications:

BLS (AHA only)

ACLS

NIHSS

Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,314.00 Per Week
