Job Description
As a VDC Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) into the construction process. You'll collaborate with internal teams, design consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and execution.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage BIM models for design coordination, clash detection, and construction planning.
Support preconstruction efforts with 3D visualization, quantity takeoffs, and constructability reviews.
Facilitate coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks and Revit.
Assist field teams with model-based layout, sequencing, and logistics planning.
Maintain VDC documentation and ensure model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with design teams and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
Train internal teams on VDC tools and workflows.
Research and implement emerging technologies to improve project efficiency.

The Successful Applicant
A successful VDC Engineer should have:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in VDC/BIM within the construction industry.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
Strong understanding of construction processes and design coordination.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
