Trillium is seeking a Service Manager in Grove City!
This Direct-Hire opportunity needs a Service Manager to oversee both technical and sales responsibilities for its service department. The role involves managing commercial offers and customer relationships, supporting sales efforts, and coordinating technical service projects to meet specifications, deadlines, and KPIs.
The Service Manager will lead Sales, Engineering, and Back Office teams to ensure alignment with global standards, maintain the service offer pipeline, and organize travel and on-site interventions, traveling up to 30% of the time. Responsibilities:
-Oversee the preparation of commercial proposals and manage customer interactions to support the Service Department.
-Supervise the execution of technical service projects, ensuring they meet agreed specifications, timelines, and key performance indicators.
-Guide and support Sales, Engineering, and Back Office teams to maintain consistency with global operational standards.
-Keep the service project pipeline current and ensure project priorities are appropriately managed.
-Plan and coordinate travel and on-site technical service activities, with up to 30% travel involved.
-Explore and cultivate new business opportunities within the service sector.
-Work in close coordination with the Italian headquarters and U.S. teams on both technical and commercial matters.
Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday - Friday / 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Annual salary is $90,000 annually DOE.
-Comprehensive understanding of power conversion technologies, including AC/DC, DC/DC, and inverter systems, and their key electronic components.
-Capability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and control schematics accurately.
-Basic troubleshooting knowledge for power converters and control units.
-Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power/network analyzers.
-Familiar with industrial automation systems, programmable logic controllers, and communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, CANopen, and Ethernet/IP.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, CRM/ERP platforms, and project management software.
-Strong command of technical English, both written and spoken, with experience in drafting technical documentation and reports.
-Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
-Has at least 3 years of experience in a role combining technical and commercial management responsibilities.
-Effective in working within diverse, multicultural teams and international settings.
-Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities essential for relationship building with clients and colleagues.
