Chairperson Private Education

Chairperson : Private Education East London A GBP 20,000 + potential equity 2 days per month We are excited to be working with an ambitious, Founder led education business with big plans, now looking for a Chair who can help steer them through an exciting period of growth.

This business has education at the heart and they need someone with vision, ambition and strategic experience to join them on their journey.

The individual: We are looking for a current or former senior leader, governor or chair in the childcare, pre:prep or private school sector.

Youll combine strategic thinking with practical experience, have a solid understanding of the private education sector and be comfortable with constructively challenging an entrepreneurial Founder.

The role: * Chairing monthly board meetings (on:site) * Providing strategic challenge and guidance to the founder and senior team * Helping shape the pre:prep launch strategy and growth roadmap * Bringing sector knowledge of independent schools, nurseries, and funding * Acting as a sounding board on key decisions and hires * Leveraging your network within the local area and parent demographic Main requirements: * Background in education, preferably independent/nursery sector * Strong strategic and financial acumen * Ability to balance big:picture thinking with operational realities * Local knowledge and relevant network a plus * Experience as a senior leader or Chair within the private education sector If you are interested in this role, and have the relevant experience, please with a copy of your CV.
