GENERAL SUMMARY
The Underwriting Assistant will be based at our newly set up office in GIFT City, providing underwriting support and business development for all classes of business within India & South Asian region.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data entry of policy information into underwriting systems and related administrative work.
Timely and accurate handling of underwriting support work assigned.
Ensure adherence to record management standards.
Actively follow-up Aged Debtors/outstanding premium collections.
Liaison with cedant / brokers as per requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job Specifications:
Insurance-related experience is an advantage.
Able to work independently.
Good team player with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Competent in Microsoft Office.
Proficient in English speaking and writing.
Education:
Tertiary Education or equivalent
Experience:
Fresh University graduate or minimum of 2-3years of underwriting support experience in Property, Construction and Energy would be an added advantage.
