Sr Analyst, Accounting (Revenue & Rebates)

This position will be responsible for overseeing Revenue Accounting and Rebates, playing a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. A high level of independence is essential, as the role requires working autonomously and managing complex tasks with minimal supervision.

How ll make an impact:

Ensure all revenue is recognized in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.

Maintain oversight of sales including reviewing sales reconciliation

Ensure accurate tracking and timely reconciliation of customer rebates to support revenue integrity and compliance.

Review costumer contracts and agreements to determine appropriate treatment.

Implement and optimize revenue accounting systems and processes.

Interface with external auditors and support audit processes.

Ensure proper internal controls for revenue accounting are in place, including SOX and internal control documentation.

Responsible to provide support on balance sheet reconciliations.

Provide training to other team members.

Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in revenue tracking and reporting.

What you ll need (Required):

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related fields and 5 years of experience previous related experience.

What else we look for (Preferred):

Accounting and costing experience.

Auditing, tax, forecasting, or expense analysis experienced.

Experience working in a Shared Service environment.

Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems; ERP (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SP) experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Intermediate Portuguese level preferred.

Excellent interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills

Substantial understanding of international accounting principles (e.g., U.S GAAP, IFRS), local GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

Substantial knowledge of financial concepts and principles.

Strict attention to detail.

Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
