Job Description

Unit: 17 East and West, Medical Oncology and Benign Hematology (CC96171)

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide patient-centered care with a focus on oncology and telemetry

Administer IV therapies, blood products, and chemotherapy (if certified)

Monitor and manage cardiac dysrhythmias

Perform tracheostomy care and manage central lines and ports

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: PT, respiratory, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and others

Charting System: Epic

Certifications Required:

BLS

Skills Required:

IV therapy/phlebotomy

Central line blood draw

Starting/maintaining IVs

Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management

Isolation precautions

Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years RN experience (Oncology preferred but not required)

Previous travel experience preferred

Willingness to learn and grow in a teaching hospital environment

Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,314.00 Per Week
