Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (including alternate weekends)
Shift Pattern: Early (06:30–14:30) and Late (10:00–18:00)
About the Role
Aramark UK is looking for a talented and organised Sous Chef Lead to join our team at Albermarle Barracks. You’ll play a key role in leading kitchen operations (3 kitchens on location), producing meals per shift, and supporting the Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities
Lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is absent.
Prepare meals according to recipe sheets and allergen guidelines.
Manage food production and minimise waste.
Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures.
Allocate tasks and support kitchen staff.
Maintain hygiene standards and carry out deep cleans.
Ensure all team members are trained and compliant.
What We’re Looking For
Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years.
Legal right to work in the UK.
Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
Relevant culinary qualification and minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP.
Food Hygiene Certification Level 2 (minimum)
Trade test required as part of the interview process.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
