Job Summary:

Understanding the Business

§ Performs technical evaluations of non-certified equipment within their area of expertise. Ensures product meets technical requirements and is free of potential for fire and shock hazards.

§ Technically competent to evaluate all products, including new and unique products, based on the scope of the Field Evaluation program with assistance of other technical staff as necessary.

Working Well with Others

§ Communicates with clients in a professional manner to schedule inspection appointments, review costing procedures, answer questions, and provide technical information service

§ Participate in ongoing training and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on changes in codes, standards and other requirements.

§ Responds to client needs in a timely, professional, helpful, and courteous manner.

Delivering Results

§ Documents with sufficient detail, technical reports for required alterations to sub-standard equipment.

§ Preparing written reports and documentation of inspection findings, including corrective actions.

Concern for Safety

§ Follows working instructions, JSA requirements or safe working procedures.

§ Wears the correct PPE and informs colleagues to ensure they are wearing proper PPE.

§ Completes all assigned HSSE training and courses and understands the content and applicability to role.
