Description
As an Electrician with Crosby Energy Services, you will inspect, install, repair, adjust, construct, modify, calibrate, program, and wire electrical and electronic equipment and circuits throughout the facility. You will also assist with the design and service of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical, and control equipment, helping ensure all systems operate safely and according to OEM specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair electrical equipment and machinery to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and restore performance to OEM and safety standards
Work with PLCs, VFDs, communication systems (Level I & II), and control equipment
Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
Perform daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual maintenance checks as established by the department and OEM suppliers
Complete maintenance reports, inspection forms, and work orders accurately
Participate in production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all PPE policies and safety rules
Attend and contribute to Line-Out meetings to coordinate shift activities
Requirements
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Technical degree or electrical certification
Experience: At least 5 years in electrical maintenance and repair (industrial, commercial, or plant experience)
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English clearly; Spanish is a plus
Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and control systems
Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens equipment preferred
Proficiency with computers and software for reporting, design, and project management
Completion of IADC RigPass, SafeLand, or Expand Energy equivalent orientation required or must be completed upon hire
Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as required
