Job Type: 3 Month Contract

Seniority Level: Mid-Career (3 - 4 yrs exp) Sectors: FMCG

Duties and Responsibilities:

Overseeing Safety, Health, Environmental, and Risk compliance

Implementing and monitoring SHEQ Management Systems

Providing guidance and support on compliance matters

Interacting with regulatory authorities

Leading continual improvement of SHER programme

Ensuring safety and environmental programmes are efficient

Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies

Coordinating with Project teams for safe project execution

Qualifications:

Matric or Grade 12

Completed: N. Diploma in Safety Management/Environmental Science/ NEBOSH National or International Diploma

SAMTRAC will be an added advantage.

HSE Implementation and Internal Audit (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)

Advanced SHER related training

Ability to solve issues.

Critical Thinking

Report Writing skills.

Communication skills

Business Acumen

Strong Knowledge of the OSH Act No 85 of 1993

Strong Knowledge of the ISO (SHE) Management Systems

Strong Auditing Skills based on SHER

Must be self-directed and able to function independently.

Must be agile and resilient to change.

Results driven.

The position requires the ability to cope with changing circumstances and situations with little supervision

Minimum 3 years experience in a FMCG environment.

Technical and analytical problem solving.

Must be able to come up with solutions.
