Material Handler / Tow Motor - Walton, OH - JOB 25-01626

Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00/HR + bonus every 6 months - Permanent Position with Benefits.

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS!

A manufacturer of a broad range of rigid PVC is seeking to hire an Material Handler to Load, unload and move materials within plant.

10am – 10pm

Days:

Monday 10am – 10pm 12 hours

Tuesday 10am – 10pm 12 hours

Wednesday 10am – 10pm 12 hours

Thursday 10am – 2pm 4 hours or as production requires

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma/GED minimum

Tow motor driving experience. Fork lift Certification a plus.

Basic computer skills a plus

Loads, unloads and moves materials within plant

Loads material bins

Bands material (metal/plastic)

Packing pallets

Labels and weighs material

Pulls and prepares materials for upcoming jobs

Processes a large amount of paperwork

Regular and punctual attendance

Must be able to read a tape measure.

Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management

Training will include other duties on the production floor to help understand all positions and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tow motor driving.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to work in a team environment

Able to communicate clearly with co-workers

Assemble/install and or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery and equipment.

Able to use hand tools such as hammers, circular saw, table saw, band saw and nail gun

Able to multitask and self-organize

Must be able to handle a very high-speed pace

Must be good at organizing

Follow written safety procedures

Must have worked in a general warehouse setting

Previous extrusion experience and knowledge of plastic sheet extrusion process a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to lift up to 50#

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds with help. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requires special safety precautions such as working around moving parts, machines or with irritant chemicals.

Employees are required to use protective clothing or gear.

Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
