Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop accurate project scopes and budgets.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to provide precise estimates.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
Maintain and update a database of pricing information and historical costs for reference.
Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and competitiveness.
Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Monitor and track project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and estimates.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Estimator should have:
Proven experience in construction estimating within the business services industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex project data accurately.
A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
