Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cutter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and fabrication, with hands-on experience operating various machinery and tools. This role is crucial for ensuring precision in cutting materials for production processes, contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

Operate cutting equipment and machinery to accurately cut materials according to specifications.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on cutting tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Assist in the setup of machinery and tools for various cutting tasks.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all materials are stored properly.

Support other departments as needed, including fabrication, welding, and concrete finishing tasks.

Safely Operate overhead crane (training available).

Requirements

Proven experience in manufacturing or construction environments is preferred.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and concrete mixers.

Excellent understanding of pattern geometry.

Knowledge of machining processes and fabrication techniques is desirable.

Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding material handling procedures.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
