Senior Pega Administrator

We are looking for a Senior Pega Administrator to join our Operations Technology department. This hybrid role based in Montreal offers the opportunity to work on business-critical Pega applications that support automation, workflow orchestration, and process optimization across multiple teams.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the Pega platform, ensuring its performance, security, and availability. You will collaborate closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and IT partners to deliver efficient, reliable, and scalable BPM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and support multiple Pega environments.

Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Pega systems.

Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure platform stability and high availability.

Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design, optimize, and support Pega environments.

Manage integrations with external systems using SOAP, REST, MQ, TCP, and HTTP.

Support deployment and release processes aligned with Agile and CI/CD practices.

Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.

Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.

Provide technical expertise and internal consulting on Pega platform best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

5–7 years of experience working with Pega BPM.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pega Administrator or in a similar role.

Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).

Experience in Pega application development and administration (installation, configuration, upgrades).

Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting.

Ability to write and optimize SQL queries.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Expertise in integration technologies including SOAP, REST, MQ, TCP, and HTTP.
