We're Hiring: IT Vendor Manager Strategic Procurement Role
We're looking for a Vendor Manager to support a high-impact M&A initiative. This role focuses on consolidating vendor contracts for a newly acquired company, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving strategic sourcing excellence.
Project Scope:
Review and compare vendor contracts from the acquired company with existing agreements
Identify synergies and savings opportunities
Lead contract amendments, renewals, and closures
Must-Have Skills & Experience (minimum 3):
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Proven experience in vendor negotiations
Expertise in contractual terms and pricing negotiations
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with Google Workspace
Understanding of AI tools and automation
Strong analytical skills for data comparison
Logistical thinking and process optimization
Bilingual capabilities (an asset, not a requirement)
Role Overview: As a Vendor Manager, you’ll lead strategic procurement efforts across shared services categories including facilities, field services, mobile technologies, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost reduction
Manage vendor relationships and performance
Negotiate and administer commercial contracts
Collaborate with internal stakeholders
Apply market intelligence to procurement decisions
Qualifications:
5+ years in vendor/supplier relationship management
Strategic sourcing and supply chain experience
Strong contract negotiation skills with large organizations
Experience leading competitive bidding (RFX)
Industry experience in complex service environments (preferred)
Skills & Tools:
Negotiation, strategic sourcing, financial acumen
Familiarity with automation, AI, and e-procurement tools
Google Suite proficiency
Education:
Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain (MBA preferred)
Supply chain certifications (SCMP, CPP, ISM) are a plus
