As our Secondary Market Shipping Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of loan files to investors such as Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae, helping to keep the secondary market department running smoothly. This position is responsible for performing loan sale activities following established policies and procedures. Responsible for entering documents as received, prioritizing the documents to be processed, as well as auditing the shipping documents to investors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.* Review loan data to ensure accuracy and adherence to investor guidelines, make system updates as needed. Complete necessary paperwork and process follow up documents.

2.* Enter pertinent information into computer system and utilize various delivery systems for FNMA, FHLMC and all aggregators to transmit data electronically.

3.* Ensure delivery of individual mortgage files to various investors while monitoring deadlines to avoid penalties.

4.* Identify missing information that would prevent loan purchase by investor. Bring problem situations to manager’s attention for resolution.

5.* Perform clerical functions as needed (e.g. filing, copying, scanning, printing, uploading documents, compile letters)

6.* Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

7. Back up for receiving rate lock information on loans, verifying its accuracy and sending completed form to secondary and processing. 8.* Responsible to ensure all Mortgage Insurance is in place after closing.

9.* Actively supports the serviced quality initiative established by the company to provide flexible, caring, knowledgeable, responsive, accurate and timely service.

10.* Performs all other duties as assigned
