Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8.5 hours per day including a 30-minute break)

Term Time Only: Yes – 36 weeks per year

Salary: £19,470 per annum (£12.21 per hour)

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Withington Girls School. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant educational setting, supporting the daily operations of our 6th Form Bistro.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing and serving food and beverages for breakfast, mid-morning break, and lunch

Operating a semi-automatic machine to produce hot and cold drinks

Providing a grab-and-go snack and drink service throughout the day (7:30am–3:00pm)

Maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, floors, and equipment

Using a cashless till system for debit card transactions

What We’re Looking For

Experience working in a food service outlet is essential

Barista training is desirable, but not required – full training will be provided

A positive attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
