Maintenance Technician for Apartments - Columbus, OH

What Youll Do Day to Day

Prepare vacant apartments for new residents and complete thorough move-out inspections

Diagnose and resolve maintenance requests quickly and correctly

Repair plumbing issues from leaky faucets to clogged drains

Troubleshoot electrical systems and replace fixtures or devices

Patch drywall, paint, and complete light carpentry projects

Install or repair vinyl flooring and appliances

Keep accurate records of work and inventory in our maintenance system

Identify and escalate larger projects or safety concerns to management

What You Bring

3+ years of hands-on apartment or residential maintenance experience

Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair

Ability to work independently and complete work orders efficiently

Basic hand and power tools of your own

Reliable truck or van, valid drivers license, and insurance

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Nice to Have

Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing

Experience with maintenance software or mobile work order systems

Strong communication and organizational skills

Desire to grow into a supervisory or leadership role
