Job Summary

If you take pride in cleanliness, organization and safety then you may be a fit for QSAC’s Maintenance team! The Office Maintenance/Custodian is responsible for upholding the safety and appearance of the physical office spaces across multiple QSAC facilities.

The salary range for this position is $18.00 an hour.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Building Maintenance

Adhere to building/maintenance/codes to ensure health, safety & welfare of facilities, individual and employees

Maintain cleanliness throughout facilities, completing assigned checklists that include daily, weekly, and monthly detail

Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and use responsibly

Demonstrate safety and care of equipment and supplies to protect from damage and theft

Driving to multiple QSAC locations is required

Complete projects including moving furniture, deliveries, painting, plastering, etc. in an efficient and timely manner

Policies & Communication

Utilize troubleshooting skills to determine best way to fix problems and communicate delays or emergency reassignments to supervisor

Respond promptly to program needs throughout facility

Identify problems in the facility and inform supervisor as soon as they are discovered

Work independently in the building, staying focused on assigned tasks and priorities

Prioritize work to complete time sensitive issues first

Report to work for snow removal as needed

This position may require driving to other QSAC locations.

Qualifications & Work Experience

High school diploma/GED, preferred

Must have 1-2 years’ general maintenance and facility cleaning skills

Must have valid Driver's License and excellent driving history

Required travel to multiple QSAC locations

Requires the ability to read, write and communicate & speak effectively with others [English is required]

Attendance and punctuality is essential
