Job Summary:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining offices, shops, bathrooms, and performs miscellaneous work in and around the Highway facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Responsible for general cleaning of shop, assignment room, lavatories and locker room; sweeps and cleans floors; mows lawn; shovels sidewalks and plows yard; makes minor repairs to windows, buildings, furnaces and lights; and performs related work as required.
-Picks up and delivers parts for the maintenance shop.
-Delivers fuel.
-Performs any other related highway maintenance and construction work as required.
Work Requirements:
-High School Diploma of GED.
-Three to five years related experience.
-Requires a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
-CDL preferred or willing to be obtained within 8 months of employment.
-Must be able to work Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:00PM during the winter-hour schedule from December 1 through March 31. From April 1 through November 30, hours are Monday through Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM.
