Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with BLS and ARRT certification to work in a fast-paced, Level I trauma emergency room setting.
Responsibilities
Work in an inpatient, emergency room, and operating room environment
Level I Trauma center with adult ICU and stroke accreditation
Perform CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion
Handles a diverse patient population in a community hospital setting
Three 12-hour day shifts per week from 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM
One weekend shift every 3 weeks, with weekends defined as Friday/Saturday
One 24-hour call shift every 10 weeks
Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR
Primary duties include performing a full range of CT exams and ensuring high-quality images
Responsible for maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory guidelines
Support patient comfort and safety during all procedures
Participation in an on-call rotation is required
RTO (requested time off) must be provided at the time of application and built into the contract
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
Former employees are eligible after 6 months away; current employees at this location are not eligible for travel assignments
Fingerprints must be completed promptly following contract signing according to Ohio regulations
Standard hospital scrub attire required
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year CT technologist experience required
BLS and ARRT certifications required
Advanced ARRT certification preferred
Experience with Siemens CT scanners and Epic charting preferred
Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call
Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
License required if applicable
Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
