A Brief Overview The dynamic and experienced Cafe Manager will develop, lead, and oversee the daily operations of our corporate cafe at Safelite Headquarters.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, a strong aptitude for team leadership, and a deep understanding of the coffee industry.

As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for building a high functioning customer service team, maintaining quality standards, driving business growth, and creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both company employees and guests.

What you will do Team Leadership * Recruit, hire, train, and manage a small team of baristas and support staff.

* Provide guidance, coaching, and ongoing performance feedback to ensure a motivated and efficient workforce.

* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Operational Excellence * Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.

* Ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet quality and safety standards and comply with health regulations.

* Monitor and manage staffing levels to maintain optimal customer service during peak hours.

Customer Experience * Champion a customer-centric culture by setting and upholding exceptional service standards.

* Address customer concerns and feedback promptly, striving to resolve issues and enhance their overall experience.

* Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate the cafe's offerings based on customer preferences and industry trends.

Sales and Marketing * Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, increase customer retention, and attract new patrons within the corporate environment.

* Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional events, social media campaigns, and loyalty programs.

* Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Financial Management * Manage the cafe's budget, including labor costs, supplies, and other operational expenses.

* Track and report on key performance indicators, such as revenue, cost of goods sold, and profitability.

* Identify areas for cost savings and implement measures to optimize financial efficiency.

Vendor Relationships * Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms to ensure consistent delivery of quality ingredients and products.

* Coordinate orders, deliveries, and inventory levels to prevent stockouts and wastage.

What you will need * High School Diploma required * 4-6 years previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the coffee industry or a related field required * Food safety and management certifications, or the ability to obtain them required * Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, trends, and industry best practices.

* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

* Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail.

* Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications.

* Flexibility to work shifts as required.
