Shift: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Rotating every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients in a Level III Trauma and Teaching Hospital environment.
Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring proper alignment and technique to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as required for specific procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and radiology staff to ensure accurate and timely image acquisition.
Operate and maintain Siemens CT scanners (AS Definition 128 slice and GoTop Siemens 128 slice) and utilize PACS for image management.
Adhere to safety standards, radiation protection policies, and infection control procedures.
Float between radiology and emergency department CT units as needed.
Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
Required Information:
Active Ohio State License.
ARRT (R) certification; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum 1 year of recent CT technologist experience in a hospital setting.
Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care imaging.
Teaching hospital experience required; community hospital experience preferred.
Must be able to start IVs and administer contrast.
Familiarity with Siemens equipment preferred.
