As Operator in Production, you will follows established procedures and guidelines by executing production orders assigned by the Supervisor and the Lead Production Operator to perform a variety of simple and manual tasks in the production process for our plant in Caronno Pertusella.

Reporting to Production Supervisor, you will:

Operates designated machines and production equipment such as: blenders, sieves, spray drying systems, batching systems, multipurpose reactors, spinning cone columns, bulk tanks, Roxane robots, packaging systems, ovens, mills, distillation columns (stills), encapsulation systems. Common tasks include several of the following activities: blending, mixing, dispensing, packaging, heating, cooking, adding enzymes, compounding, filtering.

Checks the operating parameters of the machines, providing for their fine-tuning and regulation, also carrying out maintenance interventions

Selects raw materials to be used, moves them, and loads them into production equipment.

Uses production worksheets to ensure that the correct quantities of materials are added in the correct sequence.

Produces the product safely and in a timely manner according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality standards.

Accurately reads control instruments, prepares neat and accurate records for all operations as required.

Troubleshoots problems under the guidance of a more experienced Operator or provides assistance.

Assists in performing in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met. Identifies deviations and documents/communicates them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Prepares product packaging for the next step in production or for final shipment to the customer according to department specifications.

Maintains a neat, clean, and orderly shop floor and workplace at all times and completes all sanitation and housekeeping duties as required.

Works in accordance with all relevant requirements, including but not limited to GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines.

Your professional profile includes:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1-3 years of experience in the production departments.

Preferred experience in forklift operation.

Basic skills in using a PC, preferably with MS Office products.

Experience in using RF scanners and labelling.
