Closely monitor mothers and infants throughout labor, delivery, and immediate recovery, including vital signs and progress of labor.

Administer medications, epidurals, and assist in inductions and C-sections when needed.

Provide psychological and emotional support to patients and families.

Educate patients, partners, and families about childbirth, postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding.

Identify and respond to complications, escalating care as needed.

Document care and maintain accurate medical records.

Work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare team

-AWHONN Intermediate*, BLS, NRP
