Summary

The Office Support Specialist will report directly to the Office Support Admin. The Office Support Specialist will perform routine and customary administrative/clerical responsibilities in a self-sufficient, knowledgeable, and positive manner, including answering telephones, being informed of office practices and procedures, and maintaining flexibility in these tasks and responsibilities.

This position is a full-time, direct hire position located in (HQ) Columbus, Ohio.

Primary Functions

Used as helpdesk to answer the job related questions from the field by phone or email formats

Mentoring field branches on orders, compliance, and Performance Selection System Understanding

Research daily issues that arise by problem solving and coming up with new innovative ways to find a solution

Implement new policies, processes and procedures in addition to approving them.

Will offer suggestions and perform testing

In charge of setting up all new users with Vendors

Maintain records and perform quality inspections

Ability to multitask and must be open to different challenges each day

All other duties that may arise to ensure the successful operation of the company

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Cooperative, team-oriented, patient, calm under pressure

At least 2 years of office experience

Ability to arrange things in certain order (e.g., alphabetically,

Ability to understand and accurately apply basic math skills numerically)

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Ability to produce results within an autonomous environment

Internet within company guidelines and have the flexibility to identify and respond to changes in priorities

Ability to make competent use of work related equipment and materials

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to remember information (e.g., policies, procedures)

Ability to provide excellent customer service to all clients locate resources to find information as needed (customers and employees)
