Role: Senior Risk Analyst
Location: London
Position: Full time, permanent
At MS Amlin, we operate at the heart of the Lloyd’s market – a place where complex risks meet innovative solutions. We’re looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join our team and help shape how we manage and oversee quantitative risk across the business.
This role offers genuine variety. There will be an expectation to be involved in all aspects of the 2nd line Risk function, with a heavy bias towards the quantitative risk aspects (across insurance and financial risk). Areas of quantitative oversight include underwriting, portfolio management, outwards reinsurance, exposure management, pricing, reserving, and capital. You’ll collaborate with specialists across the business, contribute to management level discussions, and gain exposure to the decision making that drives a leading Lloyd’s syndicate.
This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, forward-looking Risk team where your work will be visible at the highest levels of the business. You’ll gain exposure across the full spectrum of insurance risk, contribute to shaping our approach in the Lloyd’s market, and develop your career in an environment that values curiosity, challenge, and growth.
If you’re looking to develop your expertise and play a meaningful role within a high-performing Risk Function, we encourage you to apply.

Partner with Compliance to coordinate the Lloyd’s PBO attestation, helping stakeholders evidence how MS Amlin meets Lloyd’s expectations.
Represent Risk in working groups and change programmes, providing review and challenge throughout.
Support due diligence on strategic transactions (e.g. RITC, M&A).
Monitor emerging risks and market trends, assessing their impact on MS Amlin and the wider Lloyd’s market.
Prepare clear, concise, and impactful risk reporting for management and Board committees.
Support the development and performance management of junior team members.
Champion a culture of risk awareness, acting as a role model within the Risk function.
