ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of the receiving department are to receive raw materials from vendors, maintain inventory and supply the production operations with quality materials in accurate quantities JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must learn to read daily production schedule.

Identify, pull and supply proper quantity of material for daily production.

Replenish materials as needed for daily production schedule.

Maintain clean and organized work area.

Must learn to read daily production schedule.

Identify, pull and supply proper quantity of cover for daily production.

Replenish cover as needed for daily production schedule.

Maintain clean and organized work area.

Assist others when necessary.

Perform any other duties as assigned

Immediately report any work related injury or illness.

Keep the work area neat and free of hazards.

Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.

Always ensure proper lifting techniques: avoid bending and twisting at the waist whenever possible.

Inspect tools and protective equipment before use.

Learn the hazards of the equipment and procedures used on the job.

Report any defective, malfunctioning, or suspicious tool, machine, or protective equipment immediately.

Participate in safety training and safety meetings.

Report any hazards or risks related to policies or procedures. Requirements

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Basic reading and writing skills required.

Ability to read, understand and communicate the English language.

Must be able to correctly identify colors. SAFETY

Personal Protection Equipment should be worn at all times within the department as well as throughout the plant where designated.

Safety is enforced each day to prevent any accidents.
