Job Purpose & Scope

To manage and organize the Warehouse, Logistics, Production Planning and Customer Service Departments within ROCKWOOL KHAI HOAN. Included within the scope are Raw materials, spare parts stock, foil storage, binder together with the import/export of both materials and products relating to all custom duties activities and the daily management and liaison between Customer Services and the Sales function. The department must work within the SHE-Q standards of the ROCKWOOL group in an efficient and proper manner so that ROCKWOOL KHAI HOAN at any time fulfil all demands and requirements given by internal and external authorities and local laws.

Key Result Areas The Supply Chain Manager leads the supply chain function in Rockwool SEA covering:

Production planning

Warehousing and Distribution planning

Forecasting (Sales/production capacity/transport requirements)

Deliveries and receiving

Customer service Duties

Operating Companies (OPCO) trade (CCT)

The function covers: Operational areas

Viet Nam

Product Supply and delivery

Viet Nam

The logistics function also covers responsibility for optimal product and production allocation throughout Viet Nam.

Key Responsibilities & Job Content General:

To secure that the Supply Chain in ROCKWOOL KHAI HOAN is operated in the most optimal, efficient and economical way that provides the ideal flow of products required by Sales Department through sales forecast and orders from customers in right time and right amounts from each site.

To secure that that there is clear and concise information flow between Sales, Procurement, production Planning, Logistics Departments and the Production Department.

To secure that all employees in assigned departments have the right and needed education, training, competencies and certificates to fulfil agreed job functions and roles.

To secure those personnel within the Departments are being developed in line with agreed succession plans.

To secure the minimizing of overtime in all assigned Departments.

To secure that the organization is stimulated and supported to bring up efficient and effective proposals and ideas focused on efficiency and cost improvements to reduce cost/prices and improve overall business performance.

To secure efficient usage and development of information systems including Rockbis SAP in Planning and Logistics Departments and that all procedures for all activities are documented and followed.

Responsible for affected departments notably Operations and Sales so as to ensure they are informed as soon as possible of modifications which affect product performance/quality or do not meet delivery and quality conditions in any other way which may impact the customer.

Planning:

Responsible for overall capacity allocation and production planning for RWKH factories.

Responsible for transport planning and execution.

Responsible for organising and development of RWKH planning functions to ensure optimal profitability.

Responsible for planning and allocation of raw materials and spare parts

To secure that optimal production planning is provided in agreed time frames to the Production Department based upon orders and or sales forecasts from Sales/Customer Services Department.

Distribution:

Responsible for the effective use of RWKH distribution resources.

Responsible for products and services being delivered according to customer orders and agreements within the Business.

Product Costing:

Ensuring that the function of product costing calculations are agreed with the Finance Department and are used/provided Via the Supply Chain function to the required end users, including sales, CCT and Intra OPCO sales.

To secure that negotiation based on detailed CM calculations made by the Finance Controller(s) with (Internal & External) OPCOs are completed and contracts signed to secure correct amount of products available in right time.

Transport:

Responsible for optimal external logistics and transport agreements.

Ensure annual evaluation of transport suppliers are conducted and necessary improvements reported and actioned to improve overall Logistical service.

To secure that optimal agreement for transportation services are being negotiated and finalized and that planning of transportation is provided in right time for each day and this information is passed directly to the Production Department in agreed time and manner.

OPCO Trade:

Must work together with sales departments for preparing sales and cost budgets and for their optimal allocation and application with respect to approved plans.

Responsible for setting delivery conditions for all department's customers, both internal and external.

Responsible for setting sales prices for the department's customers on the basis of calculated Variable Production Costs (VPC) / Group Transfer Prices (GTP).

Responsible for any expansion and/or changes to the product range being profitable and meeting agreed income requirements.

Responsible for coordination and execution of tests, approvals and associated documentation required in the supply of products via CCT.

To secure that agreed information is provided to Group Logistics in a timely manner and are based upon agreement with both Sales Manager and Country Manager in order to participate in Capacity Coordination Team meetings (CCT).
