Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time role is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential support to a K-12 Special Education department in Columbus, OH, for the 2025-2026 school year. This position involves working two days per week during the school year and requires an active Ohio school psychologist license.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological assessments and evaluations for students, particularly those on the autism spectrum or referred for special education accommodations.
Collaborate with special education staff to develop and implement appropriate testing protocols.
Participate actively in Evaluation Team Review (ETR) meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed.
Provide consultative support to educators and families to address student needs and promote effective learning strategies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid and active Ohio school psychologist licensure is mandatory.
Experience working within K-12 education settings, particularly with special education students.
Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and techniques relevant to special education eligibility.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently during assigned days.
