Unum is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to support our Solution Architecture Leadership Team and Salesforce Platform Governance Team. This role is critical to enabling strategic delivery, operational alignment, and transformation across enterprise platforms. The successful candidate will bring strong Agile delivery expertise, a track record in digital transformation, and the ability to manage complex schedules and resource capacity across high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Program Delivery

Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives aligned to architectural strategy, platform governance, and enterprise transformation.

Drive Agile practices across workstreams, ensuring iterative progress, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes.

Manage scope, timelines, risks, and budgets across concurrent projects with a focus on quality and velocity.

Team Operations & Capacity Planning

Own and maintain schedules across Solution Architecture and Salesforce Governance teams.

Develop and manage resource capacity plans, ensuring optimal allocation, forecasting, and utilization.

Partner with leadership to identify gaps, balance priorities, and support workforce planning.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

Serve as a key liaison between architecture, platform, and delivery program managers, facilitating alignment and timely decision-making.

Support governance forums, steering committees, and leadership reviews with structured reporting and insights.

Ensure adherence to architectural principles, data governance, and compliance standards.

Digital Transformation Enablement

Support initiatives that modernize legacy systems and integrate cloud-native solutions.

Collaborate with architecture and platform teams to align delivery with enterprise transformation goals.

Help manage change across technology stacks, ensuring readiness and adoption across impacted teams.

Operational Excellence

Maintain dashboards, KPIs, and documentation to support transparency and accountability.

Assist in budget forecasting, and strategic planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

7+ years of experience in project/program management within IT delivery, architecture, or platform governance.

Strong background in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and hybrid delivery models.

Proven experience supporting digital transformation initiatives, including legacy modernization and cloud architecture adoption.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project).

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred.
