Requirements
High school diploma/GED 1 year of experience Basic computer skills Familiar with word processing software Excellent communication skills
Purchasing Clerk Duties
Deliver outstanding customer service to all customers, clients, and vendors by providing a friendly and professional experience-greeting and assisting visitors, answering questions, and demonstrating strong product knowledge.
Manage and process product inventories for the branch location, ensuring accurate data entry and timely stock replenishment.
Maintain inventory databases by updating product information, pricing, and supplier details in the system.
Prepare and complete purchase orders and purchase order partials, ensuring accuracy and timely processing for all branch operations.
Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, including billing, shipping, and return issues, while providing detailed cost summaries and status updates.
Participate in quarterly and annual inventory control activities, verifying product counts and supporting continuous improvement in accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with domestic and international vendors to maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve any order or pricing concerns.
Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure smooth communication, effective workflow, and on-time product delivery.
