Job Duties:
Process tax return backup documentation, scanning, and final tax return assembly
Provide customers pleasant and friendly service both in person and virtually
Safeguard client confidential information and delivering in a secure manner
Manage the gatekeeping function for firm’s flow of information via a variety of mediums
Update and manage staff calendars for appointments
Monitor office supplies
Maintain a clean and organized work and customer area
Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax forms, depending upon experience
Reconcile bank statements, depending upon experience
Skills Needed:
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have great organizational skills and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must be a self-starter and be able to follow process and procedures from start to finish
Experience with MS-Office, QuickBooks, and office equipment is preferred
Desire to expand this position into additional bookkeeping and tax duties
Requirements:
High school diploma
Bookkeeping or tax background preferred, but not required
Hours:
Seasonal: December - April
20-40 hours per week
Office is open Monday - Friday, some Saturdays may be needed as deadlines approach
