Position Title: Upward Bound Director
Reports to the VP of Student Services.
The major duties and responsibilities include:
Lead the implementation of the Upward Bound project.
Supervise project staff.
Serve as the liaison between Ranger College and the U.S. Dept. of Education.
Manage the project budget.
Ensure project compliance with applicable regulations.
Coordinate project services.
Provide services to a caseload of participants.

Ability to accurately maintain required documentation and prepare reports;

Understanding and respect for the diverse backgrounds of students, staff, and college
community.
Ability to seek and identify methods for continuous improvement of the program
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's in Education, Counseling, or related field
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in budget management and personnel supervision.
Minimum 2 years experience in project management and evaluation.
Experience working with disadvantaged students.
