Unit Size: 19 beds, 36 staff members

Assignment Type: Travel nursing job

Start Date: October 20, 2025

End Date: January 19, 2026

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 36

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact state

Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Fetal Monitor Certification

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

CPR/BLS Certification

Strong labor and delivery experience required

Scrub experience preferred

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and antenatal patients, including fetal monitor interpretation and vaginal exams

Administer OB medications and assist with C-sections (circulating and post-recovery)

Provide post-partum care and outpatient fetal monitor testing

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR and OBIX EFM systems

Uphold hospital policies and foster a positive, family-centered environment
