Hospital
This is a large hospital undergoing significant redevelopment, including new inpatient beds, expanded outpatient and support services, and upgrades across surrounding rural hospitals. Clinicians enjoy a diverse casemix covering medicine, paediatrics, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, mental health, emergency, anaesthetics, and intensive care, with strong links to tertiary referral centres and a teaching affiliation with a major university.
Department
The ICU provides 16 beds for adult and paediatric patients, admits over 800 acute cases annually, and supports elective procedural admissions. The unit has a strong leadership team, robust education programs, and a well-resourced workforce managing trauma, interventional cardiology, general surgery, infectious diseases, and complex medical cases. Paediatric patients are cared for in collaboration with local paediatricians and supported by tertiary PICU specialists.

CICM Advanced trainees within 6 months of fellowship
IMGs assessed by CICM as substantially comparable to work under peer review/ interview date secured.
