Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Working hours: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Total hours: 36 James Clinical Resource Unit - ONC/PCU EXP - NIGHTS

Minimum 2 + years of high acuity PCU level or higher required! ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED!

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

Comprehensive Cancer Center, 318 acute care beds. All inpatient units/ 36 beds. Units are specialized by cancer diagnosis.

Floating to MedSurg and PCU Oncology units including:

BMT

Acute Leukemia

Hematology

Medical Oncology

PCU Oncology

Gynecological Oncology

Urology

Colorectal

Surgical Oncology

Corrections Healthcare

Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls Certifications required:

ACLS

BLS

NIHSS Staffing ratios - PCU is 1:3, can be 1:4 w/ mixed acuity, M/S Tele ideally 1:4 but can be 1:5

Weekends - variable based on unit needs

No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff

Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule

First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Five shifts of bedside orientation b/t weeks 2 and 3, then independent
