Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students within a K-12 school setting in Columbus, OH. This contract position covers the current school year and offers a flexible schedule from the end of September through Winter Break, December 19, 2025. The role involves providing essential services 3 to 5 days per week on an as-needed basis to cover multiple FMLA leaves.
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to Preschool, Elementary, and some Middle School students.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
Assess student needs, implement therapeutic interventions, and track progress in compliance with school policies.
Assist in adapting classroom environments and activities to improve student participation and performance.
Maintain clear and timely documentation of therapy sessions and communication with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist licensure.
Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings, specifically K-12.
Strong knowledge of educational accommodations and IDEA guidelines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to varying student needs and flexible scheduling requirements.
