The products that we offer are unique in design, and some include patented features.

Products have been developed and tested in accordance with IEEE, ANSI, and NEMA standards for high voltage equipment.

They are primarily used by investor-owned and public electric utilities and large industrial operations in substation, distribution, transmission, and generation applications.

All company operations take place in a modern 218,300 sq.

ft.

multi-site facility situated on 20 acres east of Trafford, PA.

The facility houses virtually all resources for product realization, including engineering, supply chain, parts fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, and testing.

Fabrication capabilities include laser and plasma cutting, CNC machining, CNC punching, and automated bending and forming.

The company also utilizes specialized processes, such as MIG and TIG welding, friction welding, silver and tin electroplating, and silver brazing.

Your Goal The Material Handler at Cleaveland/Price plays a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.

Responsible for managing the flow of materials throughout various stages of production, the Material Handler ensures that raw materials are accurately received, stored, and distributed to meet production schedules.

This role involves utilizing forklifts and other equipment to safely transport materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular cycle counts.

Your Responsibilities * Receives, inspects, and verifies incoming deliveries, ensuring materials meet quality and quantity standards.

* Unloads freight using forklifts, cranes, and other equipment; moves materials between loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and production zones.

* Stores parts in designated locations and accurately pulls materials to fulfill work orders and job kits.

* Operates 4-D/sidewinder forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

* Maintains accurate records of inventory movement, stock counts, and order fulfillment in inventory systems.

* Stages, sorts, and prepares materials for internal use.

* Collaborates with production teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow to meet manufacturing needs.

* Adheres to all OSHA and ISO safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area.

* Experience with forklifts (including 4-D/sidewinder), overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.

* Ability to obtain and maintain necessary equipment certifications.

* Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy, including experience with kitting materials for production.

* Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Demonstrated ability to meet required proficiency levels and competencies for assigned tasks.

Qualifications Your Background * High school diploma or equivalent.

* Prior material handler experience or warehouse logistics experience preferred.

* Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols and practices.

* Familiarity with inventory management systems and the ability to maintain accurate records of material transactions, including regular cycle counts and reconciliations.

* Excellent organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with production teams to fulfill material requirements and support production schedules.

* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, orderly workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures for housekeeping and safety.

* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements * Medium work.

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25lbs.

of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects that are 10lbs.

* Traverse the entire production floor.

* Ability to wear standard personal protective equipment (PPE) required while on the shop floor or in other work area where mandated (i.e.

steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and/or other applicable PPE).
